Begin the disinfection regimen by rinsing my soiled implements with warm soapy water. Use a clean brush and Swiss Blue Soap to thoroughly remove any debris from implements.
Once done, rinse implements with warm water then place them on a clean towel to dry.
Complete this process for all implements such as AccuNip, PusherPlus and Dexterity.
Next, rinse the brush and set it aside to dry.
Now with a clean towel, pat dry implements to remove any leftover moisture.
Next, carefully place sanitized implements into the Hospital Grade EPA Disinfectant solution. Make sure the implements are fully submerged for 10 minutes.
Do not soak your implements for an extensive period of time as this can cause the jaws and hinges to corrode. We recommend setting a timer to remind you when the 10 minutes are up.
Next, remove implements from the disinfectant solution and rinse under running water.
Once tools are thoroughly rinsed, place them back onto a clean towel. Repeat these same steps with any remaining implements.
With a clean towel, pat dry implements to remove any excess moisture.
Lastly, store and label clean implements in a sanitary container so they’re ready for my next service.
